Data controller
Quindaria, C. Geranio 27, 29649 Mijas (Málaga), Spain. Contact: hello@quindaria.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email and name, via our login provider (Clerk).
- Your course content: course descriptions, learning outcomes, topics and any files you upload to generate activities or rubrics.
- Usage data: an activity log of actions in the app (e.g. sign-in, generate, export) for security and product analysis.
- Visitor counts: we measure page visits with Vercel Analytics. It sets no cookies and doesn't identify you — see the Cookie Notice.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To provide the service and generate your materials — performance of a contract.
- To manage your subscription and billing — contract / legal obligation.
- For security, abuse prevention and product improvement — legitimate interest.
- For commercial communications, where sent — consent (opt-in; you can withdraw any time).
Who processes it for us
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Clerk (login), Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI generation), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and visitor analytics) and Fastmail(email, when you write to us). Your course information is sent to Anthropic to generate your materials and is not used to train AI models. Some providers are based in the USA; international transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Please don't upload student data
Don't upload students' personal data or confidential information — use anonymised or non-sensitive material only.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. If you close it, we delete your courses and generated materials 6 months later — enough time to come back and find your work where you left it. Ask us to delete everything sooner and we will.
One exception: invoices and payment records. Spanish tax law makes us keep those for up to 6 years, so we do.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise them, email hello@quindaria.com. You may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).
